I offer sensitivity reading for MG, YA, and adult fiction. I’ve read for a variety of authors, including New York Times bestsellers, major award winners, indie-published authors, and debuts, and I’m happy to work directly with a writer or with their agent or editor.

Due to time constraints, I require a minimum of thirty days to complete a sensitivity read. This thirty-day window begins upon my receiving a manuscript. I have implemented this policy as of fall 2022 in direct response to publishing houses requesting I read and provide notes on manuscripts in diminishing timeframes, often less than one week. Please note that my freelance work, both as an editor and as a sensitivity reader, is in addition to my work as a full-time sales assistant in book publishing; my own writing, art, and creative efforts; and a life outside of books.
